Didn't even bother to try and get past the monster killing stage. Killed my hand trying to complete it.

It's a bit more like a spinoff of the MMM games, but that doesn't make it a bad game. I would have like to have seen some upgrades to the tank (better damage, heat sinks, etc), but being able to use the special abilities at the start pretty much balanced that out. All in all, really fun (albeit a little frustrating at times) game, and looking forward to more expansions on this game type.
A tip for people becoming frustrated with the dimensional rift: Siege mode! You lock down your tank in siege mode, so you won't wind up getting sucked into the rift. Beware, however, of other vehicles being pulled toward it. Something big colliding with your tank will destroy it.

There are powerups that upgrade your tank. Shield, attack and armor.
I didn't make upgrades coz I've spend sooo much time working on upgrade system in MMM4 and it didn't score anywhere near as high as I expected. So i thought - fuck it >_<
There is no campaign for the same reason.

Great visuals, lovely plot and a cute main character. The only reason that this is nine stars and not ten, is that the platforming aspect could have been a tad better. I see one flaw that many platforming games share: Jumping on a platform, only to find that you can't do so unless you're dead-center accurate. But this isn't enough to make it a bad game, nor does it make it impossible to play. Awesome job, and can't wait for the next chapter.
Oh, and I played Okami, and not every non-anthro wolf main character is a ripoff.

The point of a game is being able to play it, and the play screen is way too thin to be able to dodge anything. You basically have to win through luck. Otherwise, it was solid and enjoyable.

...there is a fine line between "challenging" and "ridiculous". I love platformers, and this one has a great thing going for it, but the spikes... the goddamn spikes. You don't get hurt from touching the long part of a needle, do you? No, only if you touch the point. Challenge is only good if it makes sense.

You're speaking of 'making sense' in a game where a blue dragon man jumps-too-high and fights his way through a ludicrously designed spaceship of some sort? o_O
In old games, spikes functioned like this and you got hurt if you moved into the side of them. Yes, it's stupid, but it amuses me and I consciously decided to keep it to seem more like those old games.

Honestly, this did not need to be so flashy... The ball becomes impossible to follow when the background starts to bug out the way it does. Maybe that's what you intended, I don't know, but it makes the game very unenjoyable. Other than that, it was great.
